What is MOOD.ai?

MOOD.ai is a workplace wellbeing platform that allows employees to check in with their mood anonymously. Leaders see only aggregated insights to track wellbeing trends, reduce burnout risk, and build a safer workplace culture.

How is MOOD.ai different from surveys?

Traditional surveys are infrequent and often too late. MOOD.ai provides real-time insights with quick, 30-second check-ins that employees actually complete.


For Employees

Is my data anonymous?

Yes. We never link your identity to your mood check-ins, chats, or reflections. Reports are only shown when at least five people are in a group, so no individual can be identified.

Can my manager read my chats?

No. Chats stay on your device and are never shared with your employer or MOOD.ai.

What if I want to stop using MOOD.ai?

You can delete the app at any time. This instantly removes all data stored on your device.

For Employers

What insights do we get?

You’ll see trends such as participation rates, colour-coded wellbeing zones (e.g. orange, red), and word clouds of common feelings – always anonymised. You’ll never see an individual employee’s check-ins.

How do employees join?

We send secure activation invites by email or SMS. Employees don’t need to create accounts or remember passwords – they just download the app and start checking in.

Does MOOD.ai replace our EAP (Employee Assistance Program)?

No. MOOD.ai complements your EAP by surfacing early signals of burnout or risk. If an employee is at risk of harm, MOOD.ai will signpost crisis support and encourage escalation to professional help.

How does MOOD.ai keep our data secure?

MOOD.ai was designed with security and privacy at its core. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in Australia, and access is strictly role-based.

Does MOOD.ai integrate with our existing HR or IT systems?

Yes. MOOD.ai is lightweight to deploy and doesn’t require invasive access or complex setup. IT teams can get started quickly without deep integrations.

Can we connect MOOD.ai data to our HRIS, BI tools, or collaboration platforms?

Not yet – but APIs are on our roadmap.
